INSIGHTS FROM A FRIEND
Aging has lots of surprises that aren’t so much fun. Being a grandmother to two gorgeous boys has helped bring me back down to earth and back to center. Fun and delight re-enter your life through play. The pressures of aging, work and world disappear because you’re so focused on them you see life through a different lens, and it actually makes you younger.

Six grandchildren born in seven short years. Oh my! Having them all in our home at the same time, seeing them play together, brings me such joy. After a day alone with Mason, our fourth born, he said, “Granna, I love you by myself.” Melt my heart. I was reminded that “cousin time” is great, but I should never underestimate the importance of time alone with Granna.
